NOTICE is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board (ZHB) of Lower Allen Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., at the Lower Allen Township Municipal Services Center, 2233 Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania to consider:

  1. Docket #2016-03 – The application of Cynthia Irwin, 310 Pinewood Drive, Shiremanstown, PA 17011 is requesting a special exception in accordance with Section 220-165B of the Codified Ordinances of Lower Allen Township. The applicant wants to establish a home occupation hair salon at her residence.
  1. Docket #2016-04 – The application of New England Motor Freight, 2800 Appleton Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011 is requesting a variance from Section 220-83 of the LAT Code to increase the impervious coverage from 70% to 79% for the purpose of expanding their parking lot.
  1. Any matters of general business and to deliberate upon any such matters which are pending before the ZHB and which are appropriate for consideration at a public meeting.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board (ZHB) of Lower Allen Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., at the Lower Allen Township Municipal Services Center, 2233 Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania to consider:

1. Docket #2015-02, the Application of Ryan and Michelle Maxwell, 1102 Primrose Avenue, Camp Hill, PA 17001 is appealing a written decision of the Zoning Officer, stating that an order to discontinue the current commercial use of a property located at 1101 Primrose Avenue will not be issued.

2. Any matters of general business and to deliberate upon any such matters which are pending before the ZHB and which are appropriate for consideration at a public meeting. Pending matters includes continuation of Docket # 2015-01, which was publicly announced at the April 16, 2015 ZHB meeting.

Zoning Hearing Board Meeting

A public hearing regarding the following  Docket #2015-01 application is scheduled during the Zoning Hearing Board’s next public meeting, which begins at 7 PM Thursday, April 16, 2015. The Zoning Officer has received notification from the applicant that an additional continuance will be requested at the public meeting. If the continuance is granted, the public hearing will take place at a subsequent ZHB meeting, and we will post the date and time for the continued hearing.
