1. Call to Order by Vice President Young. Proof of Publication.

2. Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance.

3. Approval of Meeting Minutes: February 27, 2017.

4. Introduction of Officer Timothy Cox.

5. Audience Participation: Any item on the agenda.

6. VICE PRESIDENT YOUNG

a. Check Register of March 3, 2017 in the amount of $122,541.72. Manual check register for February 2017, in the amount of $5,845.50. Voided check register for February 2017, in the amount of $3,750.00.

b. Resolution 2017-R-06 a resolution of the Board of Commissioners of Lower Allen Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, authorizing the sale of Township property valued over $1,000.

7. Any business pertinent to the Township. Discussions will be limited to fifteen (15) minutes per person.

8. PUBLIC SAFETY

a. Discussion: Criminal Investigator Job Description.

b. Discussion: Fire Captain Job Description.

9. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

a. Discussion and Possible Action: Approval of the Preliminary 2018 Street Pavement Resurfacing Project list.

b. Zoning Hearing Board report.

c. Discussion and possible action to authorize initiation of the public review process for Ordinance 2017-03, a zoning ordinance text amendment that would add certain indoor agricultural growing operations as permitted uses in the C-2, C-3, I-1 and I-2 zoning districts.

a. Discussion: Resolution 2017-R-07, proclaiming April to be Pennsylvania 811 Safe Digging Month.

b. Discussion: Resolution 2017-R-08 recognizing Edgar J. Siptroth for his service as Constable for Lower Allen Township.

c. Discussion: Ordinance 2017-04, amending the Township’s Noise Control ordinance to prohibit certain noise associated with the operation of motor vehicles.

d. Employee Recognition – Length of Service Awards.
