AGENDA

1. Call to Order by President Black. Proof of Publication.

2. Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance.

3. Approval of Meeting Minutes: April 22, 2019

4. Resignation of Commissioner Jack R. Simpson

5. Audience Participation: Any item on the agenda.

6. Bid Opening: 2019 Street Resurfacing Maintenance Project

7. Bid Opening: Lisburn – Rossmoyne Roundabout Project

8. Presentation: Police Department Awards and Citations.

9. PRESIDENT BLACK

a. Check Register of April 26, 2019 in the amount of $570, 553.13.

b. Check Register of May 10, 2019 in the amount of $215,196.85.

c. Accept a motion to accept the resignation of EMT James A. Whitall, effective May 17th, 2019.

10. Any business pertinent to the Township. Discussions will be limited to fifteen (15) minutes per person.

11. TOWNSHIP ENGINEER

a. Discussion and possible action:
i. Waiver of the requirement contained in Section 192-24.C to submit a Preliminary Plan for SLD Docket No. 2019-06: Minor Land Development Plan for PennDel District Council Building Addition.

ii. Waiver of the requirement contained in Section 192-57.C(9) to provide sidewalks along all street frontage for SLD Docket No. 2019-06: Minor Land Development Plan for PennDel District Council Building Addition., until such time as the installation of same has been deemed necessary by the Township for the health, safety or welfare of the general public. These improvements shall be made at the owner’s expense. This is a covenant running with the land, which shall bind the owners, their successors, heirs and assigns.

These waivers and modifications are not contrary to the public interest, and they maintain the purpose and intent of the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance.

iii. SLD Docket No. 2019-06: Minor Land Development Plan for PennDel District Council Building Addition, 4651 Westport Drive Proposed construction of a 8,689 square foot building addition (one and two story sections) to the existing 8,220 one story building.

b. Discussion and possible action: Resolution 2019-R-17 authorizing execution of a 5-year Agreement for Winter Services with PennDOT.

12. PUBLIC SAFETY

a. Discussion and possible action: Resolution 2019-R-18, appointing Ian E. Chambers to the position of Emergency Medical Technician II, in the Public Safety Department effective May 28, 2019.

b. Discussion and possible action: Purchase two LIFEPAK 15’s and one LUCAS CPR Device.

13. COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

a. Zoning Hearing Board Report.

14. MANAGER

a. Discussion: Draft ordinance amending Chapter 209, Articles III, Parking Regulations, and IIIB, Parking Regulations for Recreational Vehicles and Commercial Vehicles.
