LOWER ALLEN TOWNSHIP
DETENTION BASIN RETROFIT PROJECT

Sealed proposals will be received by the Lower Allen Township Board of Commissioners at the Township Municipal Building, 2233 Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA until 4:00 P.M. prevailing time on Monday, April 13, 2020, and will be publicly opened at 7:00 P.M. or shortly thereafter. Bids may be awarded at this meeting or at a subsequent meeting for the following contract:

Part A-Lower Allen Public Works, 1400 St.Johns Road, Camp Hill

Part B– Sheepford Crossing West, Lisburn and Sheepford Rd intersection

The Project generally consists of Excavation, Placement of Amended soil, Invasive Species Management Native Species Planting, Seeding and associated work in 2 locations as indicated above. The anticipated project completion date is September 30, 2020

All bid Proposals shall be properly executed in ink without alterations and shall be complete. All bids must be submitted upon forms furnished by the Board of Commissioners and must be accompanied by certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Lower Allen Township. Instructions, Specifications, and Bid Forms may be obtained at the office of Township Manager, at the Township Municipal Building at the above address from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., prevailing time, Monday through Friday, except Holidays, and on the Township website: www.latwp.org

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on March 26, 2020, 9am at the Lower Allen Township Municipal Building, 2233 Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill PA 17011.

The Project cost is anticipated to be at least $25,000.00, Therefore, provisions of The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply.

This project is partially funded by The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection through a Water Quality Improvement Project Grant. The Contract will be required to comply with “Attachment A” Provision for Commonwealth Contracts, attached to the bid invitation.

The Lower Allen Township Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Township.
