MINUTES

 DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY                              LOWER ALLEN TOWNSHIP

REGULAR MEETING                                              OCTOBER 19, 2020

 

The following were in ATTENDANCE:

Mr. Stoner, Chairman called the meeting of the Lower Allen Township Development Authority to order at 6:06 pm and announced Proof of Publication was available for review.  Mr. Young was absent with excuse.

 

APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES

Mr. EBY made a motion to approve the minutes of the September 21, 2020 meeting.  Mr. BLACK seconded the motion.  Motion carried 4-0. 

 

RECESS TO EXECUTIVE SESSION:

The regular meeting of the Development Authority Meeting recessed at 6:07pm to discuss real estate issues.

 

RECONVENMENT

The regular meeting of the Development Authority Meeting reconvened at 7:01pm.

 

ACTIONS:

Mr. EBY made a motion authorizing our Broker to terminate negotiations for the purchase and sale agreement for LAC Camp Hill, LLC.  Mr. BLACK seconded the motion.  Motion carried 4-0.

 

Mr. EBY made a motion to instruct our special real estate counsel McNees to review the lease for the Bone Fish Grill.  Mr. MARONE seconded the motion.  Motion carried 4-0.

 

Mr. EBY made a motion authorizing our Broker to negotiate a purchase and sale agreement with Lower Allen Commons, LLC in the amount of $5,450,000.  Mr. BLACK seconded the motion.  Motion carried 4-0.

 

OTHER ITEMS:

Mr. Eby spoke about passing by the former Bon Ton site seeing 1-800 Junk trucks.  He has seen seven of them and at times personal vehicles.  He noted the property needs to be posted properly so that enforcement can take place.  Mrs. Trone noted she called them and they are out of Lancaster.

 

NEXT MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

The next meeting of the Development Authority is scheduled for November 16, 2020 at 6:00pm.

 

ADJOURNMENT

Mr. EBY made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:05pm.  Mr. BLACK seconded the motion.  Motion carried, 4-0.
