DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY                              LOWER ALLEN TOWNSHIP

 REGULAR MEETING                                              MARCH 15, 2021

The following were in ATTENDANCE:

Due to COVID-19 this meeting is being held virtually as permitted by law during this emergency. The link to the meeting registration will be made available at 4PM on February 16, 2020 on the Lower Allen Township website and on its Facebook page. This meeting is being recorded. The recording will also be made available on the website.

H. Edward Black, Vice Chairman called the meeting of the Lower Allen Township Development Authority to order at 6:04pm and announced Proof of Publication was available for review.

Chairman Stoner signed in at this point. He explained there are four Development Authority members present at this time.

 

APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 16, 2021

Mr. MARONE made a motion to approve the minutes of the February 16, 2021. Mr. EBY seconded the motion. Motion carried, 4-0.

 

APPROVAL OF SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES FROM FEBRUARY 24, 2021

Mr. EBY made a motion to approve the minutes of the February 24, 2021 special meeting. Mr. MARONE seconded the motion. Motion carried, 4-0.

 

PUBLIC COMMENT

None

 

STAFF UPDATE:

• LAC Site Construction – Mrs. Trone explained they are expected to mobilize this week and will be on-site. There is a pre-construction meeting tomorrow on-site to be sure it goes well.

• LAC Building Construction – Mrs. Trone informed the Board they plan to have the bid go live tomorrow and it will be due April 15^th around 2:00pm and this Board will meet on April 19 so that will give our consultant time to review and make a recommendation to the Board on this date and could at that time make the notice of reward. The plan is to have them proceed by May 1^st.

• Trone also informed the Board there is now a Lower Allen Commons website which is available from the Lower Allen Township website under Community Development; go to Development Project News and you will see a link there for Lower Allen Commons. You will be able to see all of the approved and recorded plans for that site that are available so far as well as the complete project team.

Mr. Eby noted the Rossmoyne Elementary School is nearing completion for partial occupancy and the demolition of the old school.

Mr. BLACK made a motion to recess to executive session to review Real Estate matters for Lower Allen Commons project. Mr. MARONE seconded the motion. Motion carried, 4-0. The Regular Meeting of the Development Authority recessed into Executive Session @ 6:14pm.

 

RECONVENE REGULAR MEETING

The Regular Meeting of the Development Authority reconvened @6:47pm.

 

NEXT MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

The next meeting of the Development Authority is scheduled for Monday April 19, 2021 at 6:00pm.

Mr. EBY made a motion to adjourn. Mr. BLACK seconded the motion. Motion carried, 4-0. Meeting adjourned at 6:48pm.
