The Board of Commissioners Meeting for this evening, Monday July 26 has been cancelled, due to not having a quorum.  All agenda items will be moved to the next Board Meeting, Monday August 8th,2022.

REGULAR MEETING

July 25, 2022                                                                 6:00 PM

AGENDA

1. Call to Order by President Villone. Proof of Publication.

2. Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance.

3. Approval of Meeting Minutes: July 11, 2022, Regular Meeting

4. Audience Participation: Any item on the agenda.

5. CONSENT AGENDA
Any Commissioner, staff member, or anyone in attendance who would like to have an item on the Consent Agenda removed for further discussion can request so now. Is there a request for the removal of an item(s) on the Consent Agenda?

Accept motion to approve the items on the Consent Agenda, which are listed as follows:

a. Department Reports for the month of June for Community Development, Fleet Maintenance, Facility Maintenance, Public Works, and Public Safety.

b. Check Register of July 15, 2022, in the amount of $407,446.52.

c. Land Studies, Inc. Invoice #2 in the amount of $4,385.00 for Stormwater BMP maintenance in accordance with the awarded contract.

d. Tax Collectors June Monthly Report.

6. PRESIDENT VILLONE

a. Accept a motion to enact Ordinance 2022-03, an Ordinance of the Board of Commissioners of Lower Allen Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, amending the Code of the Township of Lower Allen, 1997 at Chapter 23, Intergovernmental Cooperation, by creating a new Article XIV, authorizing the Board of Commissioners to submit a Letter of Agency to the PEPPM Cooperative Purchasing for the joint purchasing of certain goods and services, including electronics and telephonic services.

b. Accept the resignation of Jacqueline M. Wilbern, Zoning and Coeds Administrator effective July 13, 2022.

c. Move Officer Ethan D Kell from Probationary status to regular full-time status effective July 27, 2022.

7. Any business pertinent to the Township. Discussions will be limited to ten (10) minutes per person.

8. PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR

a. Discussion & Possible Action: Authorize the hiring of two (2) Maintenance Specialists for the Public Works department.

9. COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

a. Discussion & Possible Action: Authorize Thomas G. Vernau to sign the M-950AA PennDOT Form which authorizes TPD to submit the Drainage HOP for Arcona 8.1.
