2023 BMP Basin Retrofits Project
Sealed proposals will be received by Lower Allen Township at the Municipal Services Center, 2233 Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA until 11:00 a.m. prevailing time on Friday, September 8th, 2023. Bids will be publicly opened at 11:15 a.m. that same day in Gorgas Hall, Room A. Bids may be awarded at the Board of Commissioners meeting scheduled for September 11th, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. or the next scheduled Board meeting for the following contract:
2023 BMP Basin Retrofits Project
Bethany Village Basin, Weis/United Methodist Home for Children Basin, and BJ’s Basin
The Project generally consists of excavation, placement of amended soil, invasive species management native species planting, seeding and associated work at the specified locations indicated above. The anticipated project completion date is on or before November 15th, 2023.
All bid Proposals shall be properly executed in ink without alterations and shall be complete. All bids must be submitted upon forms furnished by Lower Allen Township and must be accompanied by certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Lower Allen Township. Instructions, Specifications, and Bid Forms may be obtained at the office of Township Manager, at the Township Municipal Building at the above address from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., prevailing time, Monday through Friday, except holidays, or online at the Township website: www.latwp.org.
The Project cost is anticipated to be at least $25,000.00, therefore, provisions of The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage shall apply.
This contract is subject to the following: the PA Prevailing Wage Act conditions; the Provisions for Commonwealth Contracts included as Appendix A; the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions; the Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002; the Pennsylvania One Call Act, also known as the Underground Utility Line Protection Law, Act 287 of 1974, as amended; the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 Conditions; the non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations Conditions; requirement of a Non-Collusion Affidavit; and the Public Works Employment Verification Act.
The Lower Allen Township Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Township.
