Lower Allen Township is proud to announce a Junior Commissioner Program and the inaugural year starts with the 2024-2025 school year!

This is a non-compensated position and is designed to introduce high school students to the operations of local government, afford our Commissioners the opportunity to learn about issues important to our youth, and afford the students an opportunity to let the Commissioners know what’s going on in their schools.

Any Lower Allen Township resident who is a high school junior or senior (enrolled in a high school, vocational-technical school, charter school, private school, home or other non-traditional schooled) is eligible to apply for the position.  Click the following for more information on the program and the program application form.
