Sidewalk Cleaning

Now that the snow has stopped falling and the storm has passed, it is time to focus on safety for pedestrians. As per the Township ordinances (Sec 187-52.A), sidewalks should be cleared within 24 hours after the ending of the storm. It is understandable, with a storm like Fern on Sunday that brought more snowfall than a normal storm, that 24 hours can be difficult to get everything cleared. However now that some time has passed, schools are back in session and residents are out walking again, it is time to make sure your sidewalks are clear to ensure everyone’s safety.
