Penn Waste Modified Collection Schedule - Weather Closure
Due to inclement weather, Penn Waste did not operate on Monday, 1/26/26 and Tuesday, 1/27/26.
For the remainder of this week, Penn Waste will provide a modified collection schedule for Lower Allen Township residents.
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday collections will follow the regular pick-up schedule for the entirety of this week. Please leave your bins out the night before.
Monday, 1/26/26 and Tuesday, 1/27/26 collections were not collected this week due to the snow emergency and ensuing issues with road safety. Penn Waste will be performing a double collection for our Monday and Tuesday routes on your next regular collection day – Monday, 2/2/26 and Tuesday, 2/3/26. Please leave your bins out the night before.
For our double collection routes only:
Despite the weather-related suspension, Penn Waste will collect all trash and recycling from both last week and this week to ensure full-service coverage for all Monday and Tuesday routes.
You can sign up for E-News alerts from Penn Waste to get information about delays specific to your collection route by clicking on “E-News Signup” on the black menu under “More Info” at the bottom of each website page at www.pennwaste.com.
If Penn Waste misses a trash, recycling, or yard waste collection (not necessary during weather-related closures), please report it by 7:00 a.m. the following morning using the ‘Report a Missed Pick-Up’ form on the Lower Allen Township website: Missed Collection Form. Submissions are sent directly to the Penn Waste Route Supervisor. You can also report a missed collection through Penn Waste at: https://www.pennwaste.com/customer-service-missed-pick-up. If you report a missed collection, please leave your toters or bins at the curb until it is collected.
