Emergency Medical Technician & Paramedic
Lower Allen Township EMS is seeking Part-time EMTs, AEMTs and Paramedics
Lower Allen Township EMS is a municipal agency and is part of the Lower Allen Township Department of Public Safety. Lower Allen Township EMS provides 911 services at the BLS, IALS and ALS levels and responds to approximately 3700 calls annually. Lower Allen Township EMS provides 911 services only, no inter-facility transfers.
Pay is based on experience. Base rates are:
- EMTs start at $19.00/hr.
- AEMTs start at $22.00/hr.
- Paramedics start at $28.00/hr.
The following qualifications are required:
- U.S. Citizen
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
- Current ACLS/PALS for Paramedics
- Hazardous Materials Awareness/Operation
- The ability to pass a PSP, Childline and driving record background
- Current Pennsylvania EMT, AEMT or Paramedic with EMSVO Endorsement
- Fire Service background is a plus
