Beacon Hill Radar Site

Beginning the week of September 28th, the Beacon Hill Park Radar Site will be closed for construction until late Spring 2027. The Township will have a contractor on site to transform the park space from a passive park space to a space with both paved and natural earthen trails, a pavilion, and a better parking area. Through the fall, the contractor will be installing the stormwater control measures, establishing the final grading, and stabilizing the site for winter. Once the warm air returns in the spring, final plantings and site work will be completed. The Township will also be working with the site design team to complete the Phase 2 design, which is proposed to be fitness stations along the walking trails or a playground. Attached is an early design rendering that was created; some features have changed since then, but the general idea for the park remains the same.
