Leaf Collection
FINAL LEAF COLLECTION will be the week of December 15-19th.
The Public Works Department typically tries to complete leaf collection by the second full week of December. However, due to last week’s snow and colder temperatures, we are pushing this date out to give residents and our staff a chance to catch up and make sure everything is collected.
Please make sure to have your leaves out for collection by December 15th, especially if you live on the eastern end of the Township, as that is where the collection routes start and then head west from there.
*SPECIAL NOTE* Please be aware that as Public Works staff is collecting leaves, it has been noted that many leaves cannot be vacuumed because they are still frozen. Public Works staff is collecting what they can, and are making note of these locations they cannot due to frozen leaves and will try and come back when temperatures allow. Please know that you are not intentionally being skipped or that you are being forgotten. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Please visit our Leaf Collection page for more information about placing your leaves along the street (and not in the street) for collection, and to view the interactive map that shows what streets have been collected in the current round.
