Wass Park is a 10 acre regional park at 301 Wesley Drive.
Some of the many amenities include a pavilion with restrooms, play structures, swing set, sand box, rocking animals, picnic tables, softball fields, a volleyball court, lighted tennis courts, lighted basketball courts, and a paved walking path.
The Robert E. Yetter Memorial Field at Wass Park was dedicated in 2006 as family, friends, committee members, Senator Pat Vance and Township Commissioners Titzel, Bucher, Young, Black and Christ gathered. A committee was formed back in 2001 to raise funds to design and implement a premier Teener Baseball Field in memory of long time Township Solicitor, Robert (Bob) E. Yetter, who was very active in youth baseball and served the Harrisburg Region in various capacities for over forty years.
