REGULAR MEETING

AGENDA

1. Call to Order by President Black. Proof of Publication.

2. Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance.

3. Approval of Meeting Minutes: May 14, 2018

4. Audience Participation: Any item on the agenda.

5. CONSENT AGENDA
Any Commissioner, Staff member, or anyone in attendance who would like to have an item on the Consent Agenda removed for further discussion can request so now. Is there a request for the removal of an item(s) on the Consent Agenda?

Accept motion to approve the items on the Consent Agenda, which are listed as follows:

a. Department Reports for the month of April for Assistant Manager, Community Development, Township Engineer, Public Works, and Public Safety.

b. Awarding a contract to Schlegel Excavating, Inc. in the amount of $11,746.00 for the 3529 Lisburn Road Demolition Project.

6. PRESIDENT BLACK

a. Check Register of May 25, 2018 in the amount of $516,769.94. Manual Check Register of April 2018 in the amount of $31,572.83.

b. Discussion: Defined Benefit vs. Defined Contribution Plans. Guests include Mr. David Killick of Conrad Siegel and Mr. Scott Frazer of Upper Allen Township.

7. Any business pertinent to the Township. Discussions will be limited to fifteen (15) minutes per person.

8. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

a. Discussion: Letter of Credit extension for SLD #2005-24 – Liberty Point

9. MANAGER

a. Discussion and possible action: Amendments to Chapter 151, Parks and Playgrounds.

b. Discussion and possible action: Permission for staff to advertise for a mechanic.

c. Harrisburg Senators Community Day.

a. Side Agreement with the Lower Allen Police Officers Association regarding wording clarification in Section 4.14, Temporary Acting Officers, in the 2018 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
