Parks

The Parks Department maintains facilities at 11 locations throughout the Township.  There are 131.2 acres of developed park and playground land, and 34.62 acres of currently undeveloped land, for a total of 165.82 acres of park lands maintained by the Township.  Two large facilities serve as regional parks: the Lower Allen Community Park (LACP) on Lisburn Road and Vernon C. Wass Park on Wesley Drive.  There are 6 neighborhood parks:  Allendale, Beacon Hill, Highland , Highland Estates, Peters Field, and Sheepford Crossing.  Two additional parks, Creekwood and Yellow Breeches park, are passive land with very little amenities.  Cedar Spring Run Park is now completed.

Beacon Hill Land – 7 acres on Beacon Hill Boulevard at Poplar Avenue adjacent to Yellow Breeches Creek.
Former Radar Site on Capital View  – 8.02 acres recently donated to the Township by the U.S. Government.
