Pay for your compost or wood chips online. Click here – allpaid to get started (3% convenience fee, minimum fee of $3.00 per transaction, from allpaid will be applied.)  Prior to delivery, a completed order form must be submitted in-person at the Public Works Facility (address below), by mail, or via email.  Please contact Helen Grundon at (717) 975-7575 x 2104 or hgrundon@latwp.org.

Residents of Lower Allen Township may pick-up wood chips and leaf compost for FREE, during regular business hours.  Public Works Employees will load the compost and wood chips.  Please call (717) 975-7575 x 2104  to check availability.

The Public Works Department is housed in a 16,000 square foot facility, with a 3,000 square foot building to house additional Public Works vehicles and equipment located at:

Hours of operation are:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
• 2nd Saturday of the Month – 8:00 am – 1:00 pm, April through November
