U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), is committed to protecting the public and ensuring that the rights of victims are carefully observed. HSI administers the Victim Notification Program which allows eligible victims and witnesses to obtain reliable and timely information regarding a criminal alien’s release from custody. However, victims and witnesses are required to register with our agency in order to receive notification of a criminal alien’s release.

PA SAVIN is Pennsylvania’s automated victim notification system and part of our state’s commitment to support victims of crime. This service provides crime victims, their families and their circles of support with free, confidential notification regarding an offender’s release, transfer or escape. The PA SAVIN service includes offenders under the supervision of county jails, state prisons and the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole.

Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency helps crime victims transcend their trauma by providing funding to victim service agencies that work directly with victims, provide financial help to victims through the Victims Compensation Assistance Program (VCAP), and collaborate with criminal justice and allied professionals that advocate and respond to the needs of victims.
